Relationships Issues

β€œFor small creatures such as we, the vastness is bearable only through love.” Carl Segan

Many of us long for meaningful, genuine relationships, yet struggle to achieve them. Instead of feeling joy, many people feel disconnected and alone, even in the company of others. Learning about relationships starts from a very early age and continues throughout our life. It is shaped by our unique genetic sensitivities and our early and later experience of relationships with significant people in our lives.

If you often find yourself alone or dissatisfied with your relationships, therapy can help you do the following:

  • Acquire insight into your unconscious expectations when you enter a relationship

  • Understand yourself and others better

  • Find your voice in relationships and improve your communication with others

  • Become more assertive and learn how to handle conflict more effectively

  • Learn to express your needs in a way that draws others closer to you

  • Expand your experiences of safety and trust in relationships

  • Be OK with being who you truly are

  • Recognize the level of healthy connection you want to have with particular people in your life

  • Create healthy boundaries and invest in your self-development

  • Become more comfortable with intimacy
